Citizen’s Day 2023 was a warm and community-driven event dedicated to improving and beautifying the living environment of Sennecey-le-Grand. Held on Sunday, 8th October 2023, the day brought together residents of all ages - families, volunteers, local associations, and municipal staff - who joined forces to give time, energy, and goodwill to the town.
 

The program included a variety of practical and symbolic actions:
- cleaning and clearing public pathways,
- maintaining small green spaces and heritage surroundings,
- minor repairs and tidying communal areas,
- and collaborative tasks that encouraged sharing skills and working side by side.
 

Beyond the practical improvements, the event fostered a strong sense of local solidarity. Neighbours who often only crossed paths shared tools, conversations, and a genuine sense of purpose.
